Hard nickel electroplated diamond wheels with a textured surface which prevents chipping, keeps the wheel cooler and aids in debris removal leading to better diamond surface contact resulting in faster grinding. The advantages over silicon carbide wheels are many: Longer life, More durable, No need to dress and more aggressive. Wheels with steel hub have more grinding torque. The wheels have 1" arbor and come with bushings.
